Faces and Names
A little info about the faces you see in our movies.
Nicolas should fish more. Simply because he is such a great guy to fish with. But besides catching big trout, Nicolas is managing his very own flyfishing shop, his family aaaaand his university commitments. Enough work for an eight-day-week! He started flyfishing when he was still a kid, so he is able to look back on two decades of fly fishing experiences and struggles to imagine a life without flyrods and rising fish... His fishing trips to different locations inspired him to 'The Maximum Code'. He is always interested in new developments and concepts of sustainable river management.
Peter should fish less. But he can't. 5 days without fishing and he gets the blues - people who know him will send him fishing; because there is no other cure. Peter was and probably will always be fishing. Sitting on his father's shoulders, he caught his fishing-madness. Since he changed to the fly-only side about 6 years ago, he has been targeting a whole lot of different fish. No matter what species - Peter is in, with heart and soul. In "real" life Peter is teaching Philosophy and German - something he loves nearly as much as fishing. Luckily his numerous articles in different fishing magazines aren't as spaced out as some of his philosophic essays. For "The Maximum Code" he does the editing and part of the filming.
Team Canarian Carp
Nicolas and Peter are a great team of fishermen. But that's not a enough to have a great movie in the end. To realize such a project, a lot of hands are needed to work out planning, organization and production. See here for more info about the full crew of project Canarian Carp...
