Team Canarian Carp
The contributors from left to right:
Was born on Gran Canaria and changed to the dark side of flyfishing about ten years ago. Since then he has caught a crazy amount of very big carps with the flyrod. He knows all the waters and especially the narrow roads which lead there. You will never come across a guy who fights a 10+ fish on a 7weight as calmly as Javier does.
Emigrated from Slovakia to Gran Canaria about ten years ago and changed trout for carp as his number on fish to target with the flyrod. He is all about flyfishing, a true maniac – as good as it gets. He won´t stop before he has hooked you up with probably the biggest fish you ever caught with the flyrod.
Being something like the mastermind of The Maximum Code, Nicolas is part of the story aswell, of course.
Of course Peter is happy about the fact that his girlfriend likes to fish. Maybe not always, when she is outfishing him for grayling in her home Swedish Lappland. On Gran Canaria she caught her first carp with the flyrod. – “a fun thing to do”, but she will stick to trout and grayling fishing for the long term.
Is the guy who came up with the Gran Canaria idea and really made the thing moving.
