Nico and Peter hiked out into the wilderness of Swedish Lapland searching for char. They had to carry everything they needed with them. For 8 days of hiking, fishing and filming that is quite a lot.

The coast of Norway stretches for about 100,000 kilometers. Nico and Peter fished different parts of a fjord in northern Norway, between Trondheim and the Arctic Circle. And not in the beautiful Norwegian summer, but at the end of March. The program includes thick searun browntrout, lots of snow and frosty nights in the tent.

On Gran Canaria there are no inland waters. Almost. And yet there are carp and some other freshwater fish here for about 100 years. The Rena in Hedmark, Norway has always been a well-known and productive destination for grayling and trout fishing. But in 2005 new regulations have been applied, which improved the system even more.
